An unusual green tea from the limited production of our friendly garden Rohini, in Darjeeling, India.

The uniqueness of this tea lies in the cultivation of the B157 tea bushes from which it is harvested. Tips and the first two young leaves are used to make this tea, which are hand-picked and carefully sorted.

They are processed into loose unrolled leaves. The dry leaves have an aroma of biscuits and green bananas. When steamed, they open up a sweet grassy aroma with hints of fruit.

Its full-bodied flavour is reminiscent of some Yunnan Chinese green teas. It is rich, intense with pleasant tannins.
