Darjeeling Rohini Spring Blossom

A delicate First Flush from Darjeeling's youngest garden, exclusively hand-picked during early spring when the tea trees are waking up after winter.

It is a light and aromatic black tea from the B157 cultivar that combines muscatel notes and spring freshness. The leaves are large, whole and their aroma is reminiscent of sponge cake. After steaming, notes of cider and grapes appear with a hint of citrus and apple.

The bright orange infusion has a sweetish taste without any bitterness, with dominant notes of cider and honey with a pleasant aftertaste. A slightly higher oxidation level gives this type of tea an interesting character.
