Uña de Gato (Lat. Uncaria tomentosa) also known as Vilcacora or Cat's Claw (is a climbing plant native to the Amazon rainforest in South America. This herb gets its name from the curved spines on the stems that resemble cat's claws. Uña de Gato is known for its medicinal properties and has been used for centuries in traditional Amazonian medicine.

Its bark and root are the most commonly used. It contains alkaloids, polyphenols, flavonoids, triterpenes and other bioactive compounds.
