Top-class organically grown Gyokuro from the Yame area from the Gokou cultivar.

The Yame area produces the best teas in Fukuoka Prefecture. The organically grown Gokou tea plants are characterized by a high amino acid content and full umami. It is the ideal cultivar for producing this top-class Gyokuro.

Thanks to the traditional shading for four weeks and masterful processing, you can taste an excellent tea with intense umami and a long sweet aftertaste.

The "Hon" designation is given to Japanese teas that have been shaded using the traditional method using rice straw.

This tea is available in limited quantities.
